The unfortunate truth for many of our kids on the spectrum is that their gastrotintestinal tracts are malfunctioning on a daily basis. I write about this a lot, because the problem is so prevalent. It’s frustrating for the parents and very uncomfortable (not to mention painful) for the kids who are suffering.
When testing is done, sometimes you might see yeast. Other times, it’s bacteria. And even other times, the nasty little critters known collectively as parasites can rear their ugly heads. When you think about all of that pathogenic activity going on in the guts of our youngsters, it’s no wonder our kids often act out in such unusual, annoying and aggressive ways.
In this video clip, Dr. Kurt Woeller talks about what you can and should do in order to help your child with GI discomfort. Dr. Woeller is a biomedical DAN! Doctor located in California, and a frequent guest on The Mother Cub Show. He is very knowledgeable about autism, biomedical treatments, and the multitude of issues that are often wrapped up in our special kids.
